There is a "interrogation chamber" inside the mountain on GM island, tall square room with only one chair with bright light focused on anyone sitting there. There is no way there except for teleport. This was before GMs had the tools to check everything outside the game so the purpose of GM island was lost over time, but it is a cool feature to know :)

7:00 I had a similar event. I never really talked to anyone in the game when I first started. One day on the Zeppelin I spoke to a Female Forsaken Warlock. A few months later she was my girlfriend. It ended up not working out between us but its a fond memory I have from WoW.

Vanilla WoW was when WoW was made for immersion. Right before the first expansion is when they started putting up invisible walls everywhere and from TBC onward WoW turned into a themepark where every path was fenced off and everything was "streamlined" for the "player experience".

When i was young i loved exploring and i used to cast an ice spell (can’t remember the name, it’s a DK ability) that makes you walk on water to explore distant islands.

This may have just been an aspect of the private server build, but when my friend and I made one during the time of TBC just so we could explore; there were NPCs there that you could interact with to get gear and items.

At the start of Classic I prayed to the loot gods for Corrupted Ashbringer specifically and nothing else. I formed and amazing guild and played the entire game as its GM, even getting the Scarab Mount. When we got to Naxx, my prayers were answered, not only did we get a Corrupted Ashbringer…we got FIVE of them. The PvP video of four warriors and one paladin all with Ashbringers is still amazing. Two were night elves and we did Arena and once beat a Rogue/Mage/Priest as 3 warriors. I have to imagine seeing one lone human warrior with Ashbringer riding a Scarab then getting jumped by his two night elf warrior guards in stealth was a surreal pvp experience. I felt like a hero unit at the end of the game lmao.

I’ve been to all of those places (at least the ones you can get to), I went to all of them in original vanilla, many with wall walking. Went to as many as you could get to in Classic. Sadly they made Hyjal impossible to get to in Classic, it was always my favorite. We used to go to the bottom of the water pool under the world tree and take water breathing pots then summon people there and they would drown before they could reach the surface, it was a hilarious prank! Video brought back a lot of good feels, thanks for making it!

On retail Dragonflight i managed to exploit my way in the back of uninstanced Stratholme and get to the Quel Thalas tower area.There are some invisible walls to prevent reaching that zone but with Heroic Leap from the warrior and a fly mount i managed to get through the wall.The old unfinished Naxxramas necropolis is still there inside uninstanced Stratholme to this day (That was so cool that this thing is still in the game even on Dragonflight)and on the tower area there is some purple effect on the sky when you reach that zone

I really wish a group of clever and determined individuals would have the ability, time, resources, and blessings to resurrect all of what WOW classic was intended to be, utilizing all the scrapped, neglected, omitted and cut content and aiming to build what the first WOW was intended to be. I know it's a pipedream, but I could imagine the original developers actually being at the very least, amused at seeing what fan programmers would assemble at an attempt of their original vision of what could have been, if it weren't for being hindered by time, funding, server size, and technology setbacks of the era.

Does anyone know if this is Classic or Retail? I’d love to make the trek myself but I only have access to retail atm I’m sure it says in the video somewhere, or it’s obvious to people who know both versions, but I’d like to go in blind if I can :)

Hello Verigan! I can confirm that the ''snow part'' inside Naxxramas is NOT said fabled ''Northern Plaguelands'', nor is it an early rendition of Northrend... However, it is actually an early DEPICTION of Northrend. You see, when you fight Kel'Thuzad, he starts summoning Undead minions from these ''gateways'' that he opens inside the boss room, and through the gatesways you can actually see ''the snowy landscape'' outside, which is supposed to depict that Kel'Thuzad opened up magical gateways from Northrend to his floating citadel of Naxxramas, allowing minions of the Scourge to travel from Northrend and into his boss room.

"Next up is Brianna, the local "worker", and she'll give it to us, th.. - the password!" Love this writing lol

Even though I am 1 year late to this channel, this was a great first video, really lovely! I love these kinds of videos where players reminisce about good ol' WoW and the fantastic essence it had.

Man, WoW Players have such a hilariously low standard when it comes to graphics. The game looks like ass man, you gotta open your eyes to it.

Something I can recommend to all, who enjoy these videos is the channel @HayvenGames. Sadly, in 2017 Hayven passed away, but his legacy still lives on
